Editing Challenge

Not many actually recognize these qualities the first few times they meet us. During the summer Olympics of 1974, the city of Toronto was host to the world’s finest atheletes. Among these athletes was young Nadia Comaneci of Romania who socred ten out of ten seven times in the gymnastics event. She was 14 years old at that time. Since then, the age-eligibility requirements have been revised. Gymnasts must be 15 years of age in the calendar year to complete in the Olympics. Legally it is not possible to break Nadia’s record. As a result, Nadia’s personal brand has not one, but two differentiating factors that set her apart. First, she got a perfect score seven times. Second, her record cannot be defeated legally. Together these factors make for a powerful, unique personal brand that no one else will likely emulate.
